I pre wrote posts before we lost our baby girl, Hope. I wanted to give my view of pregnancy stages and was going to post them after we let people know.

Now it’s been 2 months since she’s past and I feel strong enough I want to share what I wrote.....xx

When you dream of having children and excited to be experiencing the miracle of pregnancy, you never get told or shown the following that I have have now had the honour of discovering.

You don’t feel or look pregnant so you FREAK THE FUCK OUT!

“What the fuck are we doing? Is this right? Why did I want this again?” Normal.

Basically you’re now creating and churning up more progesterone and estrogen to make the largest and mostly manly elephant feminine!!

You therefore start panicking and having anxiety attacks (if you’re like me) at the smallest thought and feeling in your body. ...That was at 4 weeks.

Morning sickness isn’t sickness and isn’t just in the morning.

You trot through the first few weeks being “oh I’m eating healthy and feel normal. No way am I eating crappy carbs. My baby’s going to be born healthy.” ...Nope.

This is not how it goes down I’m afraid. You get to 5-6weeks and your gag reflex and vom-o-meter comes into play!

They haven’t been around in my life for quite sometime, but, NOW as soon as I crave a good meal and something delish is out in front of me, there they are making me feeling like I had the heaviest binge drinking night of my life!

Throat tightened up, the vom gets ready... but never appears! It just makes you have that delightful nauseous sense ongoing.

Don’t worry you’re normal and the “healthy planned” meals go out the window. The green beans you bought to make a protein filled stew, lay lifeless and soggy in the bottom of the fridge while crisps, cheese and white bread become your best friends. Cake for Dinne r

Your mouth will be permanently dry but you’ll constantly be swallowing extra saliva.

This is a new one!

I read up on this and they still don’t know why but you create more saliva when you are expecting!? I feel constantly thirsty and dribbling (attractive) in my sleep.

Again, another "heavy night on the piss" hangover feeling. You have a mouth like a badgers arsehole and you can't get enough fluid in your trap.

Nipples like bullets and painful boobs.

It all starts happening around 6 weeks and as well as being angry one min then loved up the next you don’t want to be touched in anyway at all! Wearing a t shirt for me has been like wearing a top of kitchen scourers!!

I have a large "chestical" area as it is (one of my friends refers to me as "Big Melons" so you get the jist!), but now they have got so much bigger and I have an image of me carrying them in a wheelbarrow to be mobile in 7 months as I keep getting told they will continue to grow.

You might think, "lucky Steven" . NO!

Next on my list.....new boulder holders.
