Ticking of the stages...

Wow what a week. After last Friday we thought we’d be waiting months to get our application approved. Monday comes and my doctors secretary calls saying due to our situation and area as well we don’t need it sent off for approval and was put through to our chosen clinic!! After collating all paperwork, test results and documentation on my surgeries and diagnosis we finally got an appointment for our IVF scab and consultation.... NEXT WEEK!!! 🤪🤪🤪🤪😱😱😱😱 were over the moon and a mix of anxiety, excitement and nerves. Even though we have a week off work together and shouldn’t, I am wishing it away to get to Thursday ASAP!

The Frustration starts...

A sunny family day out was well needed today as Yesterday’s appointment didn’t go how we were told it would.

After 2 hours of waiting we were told my surgeon/ doctor wasn’t in and we’d be seen by a stand in. She basically asked if we wanted to go ahead with ivf application and clicked a button and said “that’s is!”. 🤬I explained we were told we’d fill in the application there and then. Nope! They are sending it in the post now. We both took a day off for that!?! Also it will be 2 months to confirm if the application was accepted.

My doctors said she’d make sure it was sooner as we’re an urgent case with endo growth rate issues, sperm and my endo blocking my tubes.

This is going to be frustrating. Silly she panicked with my questions (which she couldn’t answer a single one of) and gave me my doctors secretary’s number!!! 😆#ivffrustration #blockedfallopiantubes #endometriosis #ivfcommunity #blockedtubes #babiesonthebrain

And so, we hope, it begins...🤞🏻🍼 🌈

In one hour we’ll be leaving to apply for our first IVF round. We’ve waited a month for this appointment and I’m a mixer of scared and excited! I’ve had numerous dreams they turn around and say they got it wrong and we aren’t in the area for a free 1st round or they say we’re not accepted. Fingers crossed 🤞🏻 it’s a fast turn around! #ivfapplication
